MONITORING AND CONTROL

Context computerization.
Planning of services and measurement of contributions, passing through an efficient start-up management.

Web service for monitoring collections and management of TARI users.

COLLECTION AND AUXILIARY SERVICES

It can be fully used via the internet, on a dedicated website that allows secure access to data for domestic, non-domestic and condominium management. Control and monitoring of waste collection via graphic and analytical reports.

The software used to receive, manage and process data sent from the mobile devices resides on a web farm that takes care of and centralises maintenance and security aspects.

MAIN SYSTEM

A single platform developed in line with the contents of the Ministry of the Environment Decree 13/02/2014, that allows all stages involved in waste collection to be followed closely and provides information about the collection service with a few clicks on a device. The Main System can draw up domestic and non-domestic user databases, and group together condominium users, either manually or automatically. The integrated Google® maps allow zones to be defined and users can be geocoded, to have all the information required to plan the start up and collection of waste. From a territorial analysis to start up, from user master data to door to door collection, from consignments at Collection Centres to the use of smart waste collection sites, and also the analytical and graphic presentation of collection trends. The Main System provides for the configuration of sub-systems and data control, such as Collection Centres, Eco-points, Service Centres, bag distributors, mobile and permanent smart waste collection sites, and waste collection vehicles.

COLLECTION MONITORING

The web service allows you to plan services daily and check all the data and processes involved in waste collection in real time, using tables, graphs and map representations. Data is shown on time windows chosen by the user, and can be either general or specific to the zone or the type of user (domestic, non-domestic, condominium). Several reports can be checked:

  • consignments by type of user, collection percentages by type of waste, number of consignments and volume;
  • daily consignments marked on maps;
  • collection trends for each planned service and exposure percentage;
  • yearly collection trends by users, zones and for each type of waste;
  • waste collectors’ activity, registered consignments and reports made (e.g. faults or incorrect consignment day);
  • daily consignments to the Collection Centre and documentation generated;
  • exits made from the Collection Centre and documentation generated;
  • waste stored at the Collection Centre and time limits of said storage;

The system analyses the behaviour of each user by analysing all the consignments made both at their home and at the Collection Centre, and also any reports that exist about them. The data are shown in graphs and tables and highlight consignment trends over time.

Analysis for optimising the service and precise billing

USER SCORE

A web tool that is easy to use and can be configured, and calculates user scores for the application of Precise Billing in smart mode

Business Intelligence as a user and service behaviour analysis relating to the separate waste collection project.

CUSTOMISABLE SERVICE FOR THE PROVIER AND THE MUNICIPALITY

The Business Intelligence web service can be fully used on the internet and defines the application criteria for precise billing by Business Intelligence analysis aimed at verifying user behaviour. The system connects user behaviour and the waste collection method used. This particular functions allows the use of important indicators for the service provider, such as user consignment frequency compared to the collection schedule, which can be used to optimise service calibration.

TARIFFS COMMENSURATE TO USER BEHAVIOUR

The Business Intelligence web service is also a useful tool for municipalities that are about to use a Precise Billing system for waste (TARIP) in observance of the contents of Ministerial Decree 20/04/2017 that sets out the criteria for creating a precise measurement system of the amounts of waste consigned. To determine the tariff for citizens, it allows an innovative approach that focuses on allocating a score to each user. A dynamic approach that is superior to the classic measurement of the number of dry residual waste consignments, taking into account several variables and tending towards a final result that is highly consistent.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

This innovative system means that user behaviour can be verified statistically, providing an overview of the service trend,which can be used to identify any anomalies in behaviour and check services to make sure the collection schedule is optimised. To allocate a score, it is possible to include rewarding or penalising criteria for users such as consignments at Collection Centres and/or reports on the users. A practical, smart approach, thanks to the fact that the INNOVAMBIENTE® platform can group together all the data regarding consignments by the users into a single tool.

The method has been included as one of the KAYT (“know as you throw”) best practices, that evolves the concept of PAYT (“pay as you throw”) nationally in the 2019 IFEL guide to precise billing (pages 156-160) published at the end of 2019 and presented during the 36th National ANCI Assembly in Arezzo. The service has been developed by integrating the AddToBuild system, together with the company Par-Tec S.p.A
