The RFID reader is certified to be able to function correctly in the most severe conditions, such as found on mobile waste collection vehicles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IP67 certification;<\/li>\n<li>Security certification;<\/li>\n<li>Shock and\/or vibration resistance certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The RFID system has been found to be the right solution for every assembly and usage need for constant and precise data collection in several situations, thanks to its project capacity and programmable, customisable intelligence. The tag is read automatically by bringing the container close to the external aerial and without the operator needing to press any button. The reader can be kept turned on without any contraindication or being switched on after an event (e.g. PTO activation). The antenna power can be set from a minimum of 0dBm to a maxim of 30dBm, depending on position and coverage it must guarantee, and can be easily adjusted using the software. The code is then read via a barcode reader during pick up, so it can be identified and catalogued as \u201ctransferred\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever the maximum storage period comes to an end, the item can be sent to the Collection Centre and the consignment is linked to the user who released the item to the Recycling Centre. Information about the Recycling Centre and the items contained there is shared with the community via the website \u201cioRiuso.it\u201d, that can be used both on smartphones and via the information section on the dedicated App for citizens, used to manage waste in their municipality.
